Richard Knouf

Richard Knouf, 75, died Friday, November 24, 2005 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Richard was born March 3, 1931 to Dale and Melba Knouf in Norwalk, IA. He worked at Pittsburg Des Moines Steel for 23 years and retired from Eagle Iron after many years of service in 1996. He was an avid CBer and a loyal East Sider.
He is survived by his sister, Jean Geneser; son, Robert (Cynthia) Knouf; daughter, Pamela (Tim) John; six grandchildren, Scott Knouf, Rustin Knouf, Kristal Knouf, Nicole Davidson, Erin Klug and Katie John and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Colleen Knouf and granddaughter, Dustiann.
