Stella Knight

Estella “Stella” Marie Knight, 92, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Berlin Cemetery in Awasa, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Stella was born March 16, 1915 to Walter and Estella Trickey in Iowa Falls, Iowa. She was a Lab Technician for 22 years for Swift & Co. and 16 years for MidAmerican Dairymen before her retirement in 1986. Stella was a life member of the VFW Post #738.
Stella is survived by her son, Walter (Maxine) Knight of Norwalk; three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Wagner.
