Krista Arleen Wilson, 46, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015.
She was born October 4, 1968 in Des Moines, Iowa to Lanny and Alice Banker. She graduated from East High School and was very proud of the fact that she pitched a no-hitter for her softball team. Krista loved spending time outdoors going to the beach, swimming, and fishing and she was a very good cook.
Krista is survived by her children, Derek (Jill) Wilkins, Rachelle Wilkins, Alecia Wilkins, and Christopher Wilson; father of Christopher, Paul Wilson; special friend and companion, Dennis Warnick; grandchildren, Taylin Woolheater and Alexis Wilkins; father, Lanny (Rita) Banker; and her brothers, Craig (Peggy) Banker and Dan (Kim) Banker.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Banker; grandmother, Helen Mardell Blackford; and step-son, Mark Wilson.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27, also at Hamilton’s.

Wonderful fond memories of our childhood adventures to Grandma Blackfords house. Grandma yelling down the basement stairs for running Grandpa's wheelchair into the furnace. Rest in Peace. Love you.
