Cynthia Cooper, 57, passed away April 30, 2015. She was born in Ames, IA on November 2, 1957, to Pete and Mary Cooper.
Cynthia was a member of the Iowa State Trail Riders. She liked to cook and work outdoors. Cynthia loved working with and training animals, and she enjoyed horseback riding. She also enjoyed sewing and going to garage sales.
Cynthia is survived by her brother, Paul Cooper; sisters, Kitty Sue and Kathy; her beloved pets, Shorty, Emmy, and Hickory; as well as many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of name.

Cindy you will never know how devastated I was to find out you were gone! You will always be my Miss Pitty! We had so much laughter and fun! I did a google search today to update my Christmas card address book. My 2015 Christmas card was returned and I assumed you had moved to another area. I had no idea you had died. You were able to bring out smiles to many, many people. A star in heaven watching over all the animals!

Cindy, Through tear filled eyes, I am hoping that somehow this gets through to you. Over nearly a lifetime we shared dreams and sorrows. Many Laughs over dinners, (usually whatever one of us had on hand). My best friend will be missed every day for the rest of my life. your whistle for Shorty, your slip on shoes, your perfume and the way you made a point in conversation with "you see". I wish we would have taken more time from work and played more. I love and miss you so much.....We were all blessed to have had you in our lives.
