Susan Mitchell

Susan Marie Mitchell, 59, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 due to pulmonary obstructive disease. She was born January 5, 1956 to Edward and Jennie Mortley in Des Moines, Iowa.

Susan attended Stowe Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Junior High and East High School in Des Moines. She lived most of her life in Des Moines and was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Brian Mitchell, Fort Worth, Texas, her mother; Jennie Mortley, Polk City, Iowa, brothers: Jim (Barbara) Bennett, Ankeny, Iowa, Richard (Deb) Bennett-Woods, Greeley, Colorado, a sister; Cheryl (Ron) Deveraux, Des Moines, Iowa and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Mortley.
