Pluma Johnson

Pluma Willis Johnson was born July 18, 1911 in Norwalk, IA and passed away on 0ctober 23, 2006 at USA Healthcare in Urbandale after a lengthly illness. A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2006 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Norwalk Cemetery.
Pluma lived in the Des Moines and Norwalk area most of her life. She was united in marriage to William Z. Johnson in April 1929. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Pluma was a homemaker who loved to cook and bake, especially cookies and homemade bread. She also was a former member of Airport Baptist Church.
Pluma is survived by her sons: John (Shirley) Johnson of Carlisle, Norman (Ann) Johnson of Glendale, CA, Dan (Mary) Johnson of Des Moines, a niece; Sharon (Keith) Kreft of Clive, IA, 8 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Z. Johnson and 2 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Fellowship Baptist Church.
