Vera Green

Vera Lynn Green, 57, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines

Vera was born September 18, 1957 in Des Moines to George and Margaret Woods. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She liked listening to music, wearing flip-flops, drinking Pepsi, and enjoying the finer things in life.

She is survived by her children, William Green II and Shannon Green; her grandchildren, Nirel, Nishtha, Taden, Robert and Sam; her brothers, Mike and George; and her sister, Tanya.

She was preceded in death by her parents and the father of her children, William Green.
