James "Jim" Lundberg

Jim Lundberg, 60, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at Bright Kavanaugh House.

Jim was born August 30, 1954 to Arnold and Mary Lundberg in Schaller, Iowa. He graduated from Storm Lake High School in 1973 where he played football and basketball for four years. Jim enjoyed all outdoor activities especially fishing, golfing and camping.

Jim is survived by his children, Brant Lundberg-Polito and Kellie Lundberg; grandchildren, Col, Keegan and Camden; sisters, Peggy (David) Saul, Marcia (Jack) Martin, Teresa Lundberg, Patricia Arends and Deb Lundberg; brother, Richard Lundberg; brother-in-law, Richard Shearer; nephews, Rick (Bernie) Shearer, Bob (Julie) Shearer, Jeff (Kammi) Shearer, William (Wendy) Hounsom, Colin Martin, Shawn Kilbride and Matthew Lundberg; nieces, Leah Lundberg, Krystal Ahrens and Laurie Hounsom; and many great-nephews and great-nieces, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sue Shearer; niece, Gayle Shearer; and nephew, Kyle Martin.

A Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
