Alyce Perkins

Alyce E. Perkins, 87, passed on Monday, September 10, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2007 at Highland Park Christian Church, 4260 Northwest 6th Dr. with entombment at Merle Hay Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Alyce was born November 4, 1919. She retired from Meredith Publishing Co. after many years of service. Alyce had been a member of Highland Park Christian Church since 1955. She loved spending time with her family.
Alyce is survived by her three grandchildren, Gail Marie Ditto and her husband, Greg, Teri Thomas and her husband, Chris and William Dean Perkins; five great-grandchildren, Nickolas Stamper, Alex Summy, Cheyanne Perkins, Michael and Mason Thomas; three great-grandchildren in California, Gregory, Katie and Kristy; and two brothers, Claire Dean Tillotson and Dick Tillotson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Bernerd; her son, Larry; brother, Don; and sister, Doris.
Memorial contributions may be to Highland Park Christian Church.
