Donald Wyman, 68, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014. He was born February 27, 1946 to Ralph and Harriett in Des Moines, Iowa.
He is survived by his children, Curt (Mandy) Wyman, and Buffie Wyman; 2 grandchildren, Ashley and Dustin Wyman.
Per his wishes, cremation will occur and no formal services will be held.

Don has been so nice to me and my family. I'm at a loss for words. He and his brother Paul both were regular customers at the hardware store. I always enjoyed getting to talk to him when I went to an event at the fairgrounds. I will miss seeing him. May the Lord bless and keep him and rest his soul and May the Lord bless and keep those who morn his passing.

I worked with Don over 20 years at the fairgrounds. He was a good colleague and friend.

A knew Don for only 2 years at the Des Moines flea market. I considered him a giant among men as he was always willing to listen and them offer advice. Men like Don are far & few between.

At the flea market Sunday I was talking to other vendors about him and it seemed everyone had a great story to tell about him. He allows gave my son great advice and me he would always give me crap. He will sorely be missed by all of us vendors. R.I.P. Don

I worked with Don and his brother Paul at the State Fair Patrol. I always enjoyed seeing Don over the years. I suggested he retire numerous times. Don was truly a gentle kind person. He will be missed.

I met Don At the Fair grounds of course. Loved his bear hugs and sense of humor and I will miss him.
