Hazel Crawford was an incredible friend to Highland Memory Gardens over the years. She always made time to attend our Memorial Day service and to greet the staff. During her regular bicycle tours of the cemetery, Hazel would always notice if something needed attention or repair and would stop by the office to let us know, which we so appreciated. Even after she was no longer able to ride her bike, she would drive through in her Ford and let us know if she saw something that needed maintenance. We always loved her visits and her special care for this cemetery. Hazel would faithfully attend our annual meeting and always had a compliment for how beautiful the cemetery was or how nice the flowers looked. We all loved Hazel and looked forward to her cheerful visits and will miss her.

I didn't get a chance to say good bye. I wish I had, but I know my great grandmother Hazel Viola (Race) Crawford feels all the pain that we all share for her loss. Its hard to know she's gone, but she lived a long happy honest life and can be at peace. She is the sweetest person you could ask to have in your life. I see where Grandma sue gets her kindness from. I'll always keep the blanket and stuffed animals she made and gave to me and pass them down to my children one day. I love you grandma and I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to see you or say goodbye. Love you and miss you lots you'll always be in my heart. I'm am so sorry dad and grandma and my whole family for the loss we all share . I love you all.
