Nicholas Allen Sindelar

Nicholas Allen Sindelar, 29, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014. Nick was born on January 30, 1985 in Cedar Rapids.

Nick graduated from Carlisle High School in 2003. He loved the outdoors and sports. Nick especially loved hockey and coaching football. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Nick is survived by his brother, Terry (Heather Ruff); mother, Marlys (Ed Beeson); father, James (Laura); grandparents, Ray and Lorraine Klaes; step-siblings, Jadie and Sadie Redwing; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Mary Sindelar.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5711 SW 9th St. Burial will follow the service at Resthaven Cemetery. Family will greet visitors from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m.
