Dear Jean and Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Jim's health struggles and his passing. We enjoyed many years of knowing Jim and talking at all our family gatherings. He will be greatly missed by all of us. We offer our sincere sympathy to you Jean and also Jill, Janna , and Jeff and family. We know you will miss him greatly but also have many good memories of him. We will always remember his smiles and stories that he shared. You are all in our prayers and know that Jim is in a better place free of pain and suffering. Carolyn just got out of major back surgery and came home yesterday and has many restrictions to her care so we will not be able to travel to Des Moines at this time. We are so sorry we won't be there.

Dear Jean, though I have not been around much these past 50+ years, I have often thought of you and Jim and have so appreciated the fine work you two have done for our class of 59. His warmth and laughter will be with us for along time to come. From the words of some long ago philosopher "Do not cry because he is gone but smile because he was here" Keep smiling Jean!

Jean. So sorry for your loss. Jim's passing really hits home...we must've been about 7 when we started playing together on Ure Street. I remember reading that Maya Angelou once said "No sun outlasts the sunset, but will rise again, and bring the dawn." My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

Jean I cannot imagine the loss you are feeling at this time. I know after almost four months in different facilities I brought Mike home and I will care for him here, and am so grateful we have this time. Just wish some of us could bear some of your pain. Will pray for peace for you and your family.
