Joseph Gosek

Joseph Gosek, 79, died Sunday, November 19, 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma while visiting his daughter. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial at Beaver Catholic Cemetery in Granger. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Joseph was born October 14, 1927 to Frank and Mary Gosek. He served in the US Army and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and AM Vets, Post 2. Joseph owned Joe and Betty’s Tavern for over 50 years, retiring in 2005.
Joseph is survived by his daughter, Terri Hall of Tulsa, OK; granddaughters, Mary Alice Mullin and Debra Sue Ezzio, both of Des Moines, and Wendy Rogers of Tulsa, OK; five great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sister, Teresa Andrew of Des Moines; and a host of other family and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Gosek; and daughter, Pamela Jo Cirksena.
