Mildred Earp

Mildred “Millie” Earp, 92, died Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, August 28 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening with family present from 5 to 7PM at the funeral home.
Mildred was born in Des Moines, IA. to Elizabeth (Hoffman) and Fred Walton. She was a graduate of North High School. Mildred retired from Kohles Heating and Cooling where she was a receptionist for many years. She was a 50 year Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile member. She also belonged to the Evergreens and Highland Park Legion auxiliary
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Parsons, nephews: Mel, Kenneth (Betty), Bill (Mary) Johnson. Grandchildren:: Mike & Cathy, David & Pam, Raymond & Teresa Parsons; great-grandchildren, Bryan, Jen & Matt Dvorak, Sara, Bekah, Shawna, Daniel & Andy Parsons. Step-great great granddaughter; Samantha. And several nieces and nephews who were always there when she needed them. She was preceded in death by her three husbands: Earl Meline, Lyle Hough, and Nile Earp.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Grace Methodist Church or to charities of choice in honor of Millie.
