Vernon Jeter, Jr.

Vernon Jeter, Jr. passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the age of 43 years old. He was born January 18, 1971 to Marcella Mae Head and Vernon National Jeter, Sr. During most of his life his grandmother, Marjorie Lampken raised him. The two of them shared a special bond and were always there for one another. Vernon graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1989. He enjoyed sports, listening to music, dancing, watching movies and making people laugh. His favorite foods were pizza and tacos.

Vernon was blessed with six children, Shakira, Nathan, Kalev, Coby, Deion, and Revanta; siblings, Latashia, Larrissa, Matt, Mindy, and Michael; aunts and uncles, Marsha, Constance, Arbellala, Carl, Marilyn, Sharon, Thersa, Marie, Pam, Linda, and Damon; parents, Vernon Jeter, Sr. and Marcella Mae Head; grandparents, Carl Jeter, Virginia, Melvin Head, and Marjorie Lampkin; and many beloved friends.
