Geneva A. Nuzum, 83, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Carlisle Care Center.
Geneva was born on December 3, 1930 in Perry, Iowa to Lorence and Mamie Woodard. She retired from Cownie Furs in 2002 after 35 years of service as a seamstress. Geneva made wedding cakes and wedding dresses. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.
Geneva is survived by her daughter, Anita (Charles) Pagano; son, Robert (Frances) Nuzum; grandchildren, Rhett, Robert II, Mario and Angela; great-grandchildren, Vincent, Alexander, Haylie and Kahl; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Nuzum; children, David and Debra Nuzum; and her siblings, Larry Woodard and Colleen Miles.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the funeral service at 12 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

To the family of Geneva,
So sorry of the loss of Geneva, she will be greatly missed. We do know that she is having no more suffering. She is with our precious Lord and savior. She will be forever in our thoughts.
Anita, Charles--Robert, Frances,-- Rhett, Robert II, Mario, Angela,-- Vincent, Alexander, Haylie and Kahl, you were all very special to her.
She will be in your hearts forever.
