I am so sorry for your loss. Nothing hurts more than the death of a loved one. I am writing this in hope of bringing you comfort from the bible. The bible tells us at Acts 24:15 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". I guess your wondering what that can mean for you. I'll tell you. It means a real hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones. You might think, Can we really believe what the bible says? Yes, for three reasons: (1) God is the Creator of life. The bible calls Jehovah God "the source of life" and He is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died. Psalm 36:9 (2) God has resurrected humans in the past. The Bible reports eight instances of humans -young, old, male, female-who were brought back to life on earth. Some had been dead for a short time, but one had been in a tomb for four days. John 11:39-44 (3) God is eager to do so again. Jehovah hates death; he views it as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26). The Bible says that He longs too or yearns to conquer that enemy death, and to undo death by means of the resurrection. He longs to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. Job 14:14,15. So there is hope to see our dead loved ones again. I hope these words from Gods word brings you some comfort. When Jehovah's Witnesses knock at you door, ask them about the resurrection, they will happy to answer your questions.

May the many wonderful memories that Tommy left fill your hearts with love. Please know that God promises that one day we will be reunited with our loved ones in the future Paradise. (Revelation 21:4) His Life ended far too young. Please know that you are in my prayers. (John 5:28)
