Carolyn Sue Marshall, 66, died, Monday August 26, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. She was born December 22, 1946, to William and Florence Johnson in Des Moines.
Sue graduated East High School in 1964. She enjoyed playing pool and watching old westerns, but above all spending time with her grandkids is what she lived for.
She is survived by her daughter Robyne (Joel) Clement, Grandchildren Emily and Braeden Clement, mother Florence Johnson, and sister Nancy Davis.
Sue was preceded in death by her father William Johnson and sister Judy Luloff.
Friends may visit with family from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday August 30, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, with services following at 6:00 pm.
Sue was passionate about organ donation, and her wish to donate was fulfilled.

Robyne- I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I am thinking of you and praying for peace and comfort for you and your family. Memories come back many times completely out of the blue and often it is a small thing that will remind you of them and it makes you cry and smile all at the same time. That's how they're always with us. Hugs and love to you.

Robyne, we are so sorry to here this very heart breaking news. Unfortunately we know first hand the pain you and your family are facing at this very sad and lonely time. We were deeply saddened to hear of your mother's death. It was a shock to all of us.
I think that the loss of one's mother is by far the saddest event of anyone's lifetime. There is just no other loss that measures up to this one.
