Eddie Abney, 64, passed away Saturday, July 27.
He was born in Rome, GA. On July 5, 1949, to Martha and Rayford Abney. Eddie worked as a carpenter.
Eddie is survived by his sister, Angela.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Masonic Cemetery.

Dear Abney family,
Please accept my deep regrets for your loss. You don't know me but I wanted to share what helped me when I lost my whole family to this enemy death that always brings pain and grief. I found comfort and hope in what Jehovah Gods word the Bible says at John11:11 and Mark5:39 that they're just asleep and Jesus states at John5:28,29 that I'll see them again and this helps me get through each day because I miss them so much. I truly hope this has helped in some way because this is my purpose in sharing this with you. Please know that I do share your grief and you're in my thoughts and prayers.
