Barbara Grother

Barbara Grother, 57, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Iowa Health Taylor Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Jordan Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Barbara was born February 24, 1950. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed collecting angels, and tending to her roses.
Barbara is survived by her children, Bobbie (Luke) Nelson of Boone, IA, Sherry Grother of Iowa City, IA, Connie (Thad) Caylor of Urbandale, Paul Grother and Jon-Paul (Brandy) Grother, both of Des Moines; companion, Paul Grother of Des Moines; sister, Betty (Wayne) Waterbury of Festus, MO; brother, Bruce Lein of Cedar Falls, IA; and two grandchildren, Carson and Riley Caylor. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ellen and Gordon Lein.
