“You see little Vic, death is not so bad – I know I will be in a better place with family and friends, my mama and Jesus. So it is best to spend time with the people you love while you are living so you may have much to reminisce about when you join them in the heavens” - Mamaw

Mamaw was a kind woman she always had a smile on her face when I saw her. I always loved her stories that she told me when she was little, So I just wanted to say that she was a good woman and sweet as could be. Mamaw you will be missed very munch! Love you.

We must take a direct quote from PJ. as it is so very true. "Here in Iowa there was no Mildred Myers, there was only Mamaw" as we also only knew her as Mamaw. We are very proud and honored to have had the pleasure of meeting her and being in her presence at gatherings. Although we didn't know her very well she was family and we always enjoyed her company! You will most definitely be missed Mamaw!

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." I am very fortunate to have met Mamaw here in Iowa. I know this is not where she was from or where she lived most of her life, but Mamaw had a home and a family here in Iowa and I am very proud and lucky to be able to say that I was a part of that family. Here in Iowa there was no Mildred Myers, there was only Mamaw. You will be missed Mamaw.
