Donald Tilton

Donald E. Tilton, 87, died May 23, 2013, at Regency Care Center in Norwalk. He was born September 12, 1925, in Norwalk, to Hebron and Hazel Tilton. Don was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He worked for Pittsburg Des Moines Steel Company, retiring after 47 years of service. Following retirement, Don volunteered for Meals on Wheels. He was a member of Fellowship Community Church and the Wellfare Lodge #628 of the Masonic Order.

He is survived by his wife Loretta; his daughter Cheree Tilton; his son Brian Tilton; and sons Thom (Lanh) Bui, and Tho Bui; his three grandchildren; his sisters Clara Wilson and Geraldine Rinard; and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at his church on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, 11:00 a.m., 225 North Avenue, Norwalk.
