Betty Jean Albright

Betty Jean Albright, 74, passed away Wednesday May 8, 2013, at Kennybrook Village in Grimes. She was born June 11, 1938, to James and Zeda Warren in Des Moines.
Betty was a 1956 graduate of East High School. She was a successful real estate agent for 15 years and became a Million Dollar seller. Betty enjoyed crafts, crocheting, planting flowers, and gardening. She loved making things for people, especially baby blankets.
Betty is survived by her husband of 56 years, Howard; and daughter, Penny Albright. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James Warren and Ralph Warren, and sister, Frances Phillips.
Memorial services will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Burial will follow at Powers-Warren Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

So very sorry for your loss, Howie and Penny. She left so many great memories with Len and I, especially from the good ole' days when Howie worked on Lens race car. We had so much fun. She was a great person. Loved her. Thoughts & prayers are with you guys.

Howard and Penny, So sorry for your loss, Betty was like a Mom to so many of us at Kenny Brook, She would sew on a button, mend a garment, what ever was needed, Betty was there, She will be deeply missed, We loved her so much, She touched so many lives, My prayers go out to you and your family,
