Anne Lauer

Anne Marie Lauer, 52, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in Des Moines. Anne Marie was born on February 17, 1961, in Des Moines to James and Elizabeth “Betty” Pritchard.

Anne worked and later volunteered with many disabled people during her lifetime.

Anne is survived by her son, Nicholas Matthew Lauer; her brother, Jim (Mary) Pritchard; nephews, Michael, Jason, Edward, and Andrew; and nieces, Erica, Maddie, Flori, and Lilly. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Mary, and her brother, Steve.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will follow the mass at Oralabor Cemetery in Ankeny. Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.

Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis National Society, Iowa Chapter or to Child Serve of Johnston.
