Angela Kaylene Sieving, 50, of Des Moines, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 after suffering seven years from Alpha-1.
Angie graduated from Lincoln High School in 1981. She worked six years at Burger King, four years at J.C. Auto, and eight years at Napa.
She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jean Husted; husband, Gary Kahley; brother, Kevin; and father, Kenneth.
She is survived by her companion, Joe Meier; mother, Lucile; and brothers, James and Lonnie.
Graveside services to be held 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Ridgedale Cemetery on NW Beaver Drive in Johnston, Iowa.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I did not know Angela but saw her obituary in the paper and she suffered from Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. I was the Iowa Support Group Leader and wanted to reach out and give you my contact information if you would like to talk to another Alpha or would like information on getting family members tested for Alpha-1. We hold an Alpha-1 fundraiser for the cure this summer on July 27 at the Johnston Lions Club
