Daniel H. Moore

Daniel Harry Moore, age 69, passed from this life on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Regency Care Center in Norwalk, Iowa. Dan was born on July 12, 1943 in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Floyd C. and LaVera Moore.

He will be remembered by his wife, Linda; sisters, Kay Alvord and Jo (Jeff) Cox; six sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; aunts, Alberta Moore and Alberta Bowdre; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding him in death are his parents; infant brother, Donald; and his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Library, c/o Iowa Department of the Blind or to Iowa Home Health Care Hospice.
