Phyllis L. Franklin, 91, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012, at the Community Care Center in Stuart.
Phyllis was born January 6, 1921, in Des Moines, to Lewis and Juanita (Densmore) Boger. She was a waitress for Gustaveson’s Restaurant until her retirement in 1983.
Phyllis is survived by her children, William (Roxie) Franklin, Judith (Keith) Jorgensen, Patrick (Patsy) Franklin, and Pamela (John) Ogg; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ivan L. Franklin; husband, Ivan W. Franklin; and her brother, Robert “Larry” Boger.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Friday, at the funeral home.

I knew your mom for years as a waitress at the restaurant and as a client. I enjoyed our relationship over the years and am sad that I missed her memorial service.
