Myra Anderson, 90, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012,. at Taylor House in Des Moines. Myra was born on February 3, 1922, in Cambridge, Iowa, to Ruth (Love) and James Martin. She enjoyed working in her yard, sewing and baking.
Myra is survived by her son, Richard Anderson (Carol); daughter, Lonna McCammond (Frank); sisters, Dorothy Murphy and Rose Gaffney; grandchildren, Kelli Reeves (Rick), Mark Anderson (Jennifer), and Rob McCammond (BeBe); and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Anderson; siblings, Henry, David, Mildred, Josephine, Edna, Ada, and Daisy; and her granddaughter, Courtney.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, with a visitation period beginning at 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Taylor House Hospice in honor of the loving care Myra received.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with the loss of this amazing lady. What a blessing Myra was to those who knew her, myself included. Enjoy the memories, there are so many. I will always smile when I think of her. She is now at peace. Love you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. Jesus Christ, while here on earth gave us a For Sure Hope in John 5:28,29. There he spoke about the resurrection hope. In harmony with God's original purpose those resurrected as humans, will have the opportunity to live on a paradise earth (Luke 23:43) This promised future include perfect health and everlasting life for obedient human. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Myra was a remarkable woman. Cherish the memories you have. Her wish has been granted and her pain has ended - try to be happy for her.
