Kerry Tucker

Kerry Tucker, 62, of Des Moines died on Thursday, June 14, 2007 following injuries sustained in a hit and run car accident. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with cremation following the service. The family will greet friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Kerry was a member of the Scotch Ridge Presbyterian Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding and blue grass music. Kerry’s mission in life was helping others in need.
He is survived by his children Fred Tucker of Jacksonville, Florida, Leanna Tucker of Des Moines and Kathy VanAmburg of Norwalk, his grandchildren Samantha and Sarah and his siblings Kay Seifert of Canada, Coleen O’Conner, Kevan Tucker and Jan Roberts all of Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Door of Faith Mission.
