Robert Daniel Treon

Robert Daniel Treon, 88, was born July 21, 1924, in Des Moines, the son of Paul and Augusta (Odefey) Treon. He passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Kavanagh House on 56th Street.

Bob was a chemist at Des Moines Water Works and retired after many years of faithful service.

Bob is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Paulette and Stephen Joyce; grandchildren, Jennifer (Raymond) Wilson and Ian (Casey) Joyce; other loving relatives; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rose Treon, numerous siblings, and his parents.

Cremation has occurred, and no formal services are planned at this time.
