Georgia Turner

Georgia L. Turner, 92, of Des Moines died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Mercy Capitol in Des Moines, IA. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 16 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St, Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be held Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
Georgia is survived by her children, Jim (Allene) Turner of Des Moines, Tom (Erna) Turner of Bondurant, Mary Jane Turner of Des Moines, Judy (John) Terry of West Des Moines and Eleanor (Richard) Hansen of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents; 2 sisters and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Mosaic or charity of the donor’s choice.
