Shirley Enos Gerk, 64, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. She was born June 9, 1948, in Des Moines, to Wesley and Mary (Zenor) Enos.
Shirley is survived by her mother, Mary Enos; daughter, Nicole Gerk; sons, Joe (Amy) Gerk and Josh Gerk; granddaughters, Mariah, Isabella, and Catalina; brother, Wesley Enos; and her sister, Leslie Enos. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy; father, Wesley; and her sister, Mary.
Per Shirley’s request, her body has been cremated and no services are planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals or Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
