David Woods

David passed from this life at Iowa Methodist Medical Center on June 8, 2007. David was born on September 19, 1954, the son of the late Floyd and Mildred Woods. He completed his education at Southeast Polk High School and began working at the West Des Moines Express. Later he worked for Artistic Manufacturing in Altoona until his disability caused his termination.
He is survived by one brother, Lloyd James Woods of Des Moines; his step-mother, Frances Woods of Lineville, Iowa; a niece, Barbara Carman of Clive and a nephew, Randy (Cindy)Woods of Colfax.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Powers-Warren Cemetery near Adelphi, Iowa.
Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
