Rebecca L. Zuck

Rebecca Lee (Powell) Zuck, 55, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born April 18, 1957, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to Lester and Dawn (Dix) Powell.

Becky graduated from North University High School. She married Michael Zuck on December 30, 1978, in Cedar Falls. She enjoyed going to dirt track races with Michael, annual family vacations to Minnesota, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Becky is survived by her husband, Mike; her children, Shelly (Bob) Wright, Stacy Zuck, Renee (Ryan) Bailey, and Ashley (boyfriend, Travis) Zuck; seven grandchildren, Bobby, Devin, Landon, Tayona, Hunter, Jaidan and Autumn; sisters, Kathy (Gary) Freiberg, Cheryl (Paul) Humeston, and Teri (Tim) Vorland; as well as her brothers, Doug (Dee) Powell and David (Dawn) Powell. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with visitation two hours prior.
