Delores Corpron

Delores “Dee” Corpron, 76, died at her home Sunday, June 3, 2007. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Dee enjoyed camping and being outdoors. She loved reading to children and spent a great deal of her time as a school volunteer. Dee will be remembered for her big heart.
Dee is survived by her children, Richard (Inez) Cleary of Des Moines, James (Sharon) Bennett of Albany, NY, Donna (Leonard) Rattray of Des Moines, Charles (Pat) Roads of Altoona and Doris Burns-Steenblock of Mason City; her great-grandson whom she raised, Taylor Combs of Des Moines; step-children, Carrie (Russ) Ostreko of Boone and Mark Corpron of Des Moines; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vola Corpron; son, Joe Cleary; and great-granddaughter, Tiffany Combs.
