Service Details
Jacqueline “Jackie Blue” Wilson, 60, passed away at her home Thursday, July 5, 2012. She was born May 8, 1952. Jacqueline enjoyed music, camping, boating, fishing and spending time with her family.
Jacqueline is survived by her children, Joshua Wilson and Emily Wilson; grandchildren, Hope, Isaiah, Jacob and Hannah Wilson; sister, Linda Blakely; and her brother, David Bolin. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Norma Bolin and her brother, Rick Bolin.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

The two most important things in jackie's life were family and friends. I was lucky enough to be the latter. If you were a friend you were considerd family to Jackie. Thank you for all the great memories, the concerts, the years we spent doing radio, weemaway and the music. You were my best friend. Thank you! I will truly miss you. Ollie

I will always remember on one of our girls weekends we were drinking in the hot tub and talking about going out and getting a tattoo, when asked what she would want Jackie replied she wanted a wild hair tattooed on her butt. I know that she has that tattoo and is laying on a sheepskin rug talking on a cordless phone and is surrounded by all the family and friends that have been waiting for her to join them.

I remember when I first met Jackie in the mid 90's. We were outside in the sun and I asked her what color she used on her hair...it was so shiny and beautiful. She said "Light golden brown" in her bubbly way. I've never forgotten that and will never forget her...what a gem!

Jackie was a one of a kind person. She always made every day special. She told my boys that she was their crazy aunt Jackie. We loved to spend the weekend and have bonfires and get up on Sunday and cook breakfast and just lounge and visit. So very, very many great memories. She will be missed by so many. I feel honored to have had he as part of my life.

Jackie was such an inspiration to us all, she dealt with this terrible illness with her lifelong attitude of, "This is where I am, cannot change that, so I'm going to make the most of it, game on! Crank up the music, I'm getting my blues on!
Goodbye Jackie Blue we love and miss you but will always remember the good times.
