Thomas Sheridan

Thomas “Tom” Sheridan, 59, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Tom was born June 20, 1953, in Des Moines, to William and Anita (Benson) Sheridan. He enjoyed playing cards with his father and brothers. Tom had a green thumb, and grew huge tomatoes and beautiful roses. He liked to find and press four-leaf clovers. Tom’s greatest passion was fishing.

Tom is survived by his loving mother and family, Mike and Susie, Rick, Laura and Tim, Pat and Ray Lyn, Kelly, Kevin and Camille, Kerry and Ginger, Bill and Melody, David and Jolene, and Dean and Brie; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2012, at Saylor Township Fire Department, 211 Northwest 54th Avenue.
