Janice Marie Olson

Janice Olson, 87, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Bright Kavanagh House. She was born November 7, 1924, in Marquisville, Iowa, to Herman and Evelyn Voels.

Janice was a kind and loving woman. She was an animal lover, a friend, an aunt, and a step-mother. She loved and served the Lord, and in the end He took her home. Janice was a member of Vine Street Gospel Chapel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Olson.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 11 a.m. the following Saturday, June 9, 2012.
