Wendell Wayne "Bill" Viers, Sr.

Wendell “Bill” Wayne Viers, Sr., 77, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012. He grew up in Maxwell, Iowa. Bill served in the U.S. Army and retired from John Deere after 33 years of service.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; sons, Wendell, Jr., Keith, and Bobby; daughters, Linda, Robin, Deborah, and Kerri; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
