Loretta Wright-Heck

Loretta C. Wright-Heck, 90, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012, at Parkridge Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Born on November 12, 1921, in New Foundland, Canada, she was one of twelve children born to James and Anna (Healy) Maher.

Loretta is survived by her daughter, Angela (Frank) Widner of Altoona; sons, James (Linda) Wright of Des Moines and Loren (Denise) Wright of Desert Springs, California; sister, Rosemary (Kenny) of St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loren K. Wright; second husband, Eugene Heck; her parents; as well as seven sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time, at the funeral home.
