Charles "Chuck" L. Kauzlarich

Charles “Chuck” L. Kauzlarich, age 58, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012, at Indian Hills Nursing Home of Chillicothe, Missouri.

Chuck was born the son of Charles and Carmen (Fazio) Kauzlarich on March 9, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a 1971 graduate from Lincoln High School, and attended Drake University and Vatterott College in Des Moines, Iowa. He worked in the mailroom at Meredith for 27 years, and later became an Internet Technology worker.

Chuck lived in Des Moines, Iowa, most of his life. In 2005, he moved to Fulton, Texas, and then moved to Chillicothe, Missouri, in 2009. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Church. He loved bowling, golf, sports, gardening, cooking, and his pets. He especially loved the character Snoopy, the New York Yankees and the Chicago Cubs.

He is survived by wife, Teresa LeBlanc of Chillicothe, Missouri; two sons, Dustin “Dusty” LeBlanc and fiancé Sarah of Des Moines, Iowa, and Charles “Charley” (Christina) Miller of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Amy (Jonnie) Halford of Savage, Minnesota; one brother, Phillip (Connie) Kauzlarich of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Jan Kauzlarich and Carmen (Tony) Kauzlarich-Cataldo both of Des Moines, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Mia, Jasmine, Hayden, Mitch, Jack, Maria and Vivian; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012,at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Road, with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., with a rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday evening, March 6, 2012, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 S.W. 9th Street.
