Betty Grange

Betty was born in October, 1924, and passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 28, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eunice Hague; sisters, Lena and Woneva and grandson, Patrick.

Betty attended Lincoln High School and worked at Miller’s Super Value and HyVee before retiring to the good life in Bullhead City, Arizona, for 18 years where she was a high roller. Following a severe stroke she returned to Des Moines where her husband and family cared for her the past ten years. Betty was a great cook and candy maker.

Those left to remember her are her husband of 69 years, Chuck; sons, Dennis (Diana), Chuck (Crystal), Robert Sr. (Donna); ten grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life.
