I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad will be greatly missed by the many, many whose lives he touched during his time on this earth. He is now rejoicing in the presence of Jesus, and we, too, rejoice in knowing that we'll see him again!
Doug and I aren't able make the visitation or funeral service, but I want you to know that my prayers are with you.
Love to you and the rest of the family.

I will miss Uncle David a great deal. For the quiet guy in the corner, He sure could catch you off guard with his wit and engage you with much sensible talk. My condolences to my cousins. May the Lord bless you in this time of transition. I know Uncle David is in a much happier place and is keeping the angels smiling.

One of the things we appreciated about David was his dry sense of humor. He would often catch us "off guard". We appreciated, also, his committment to the Lord and to his church.
