E. “Iris” Merical, 81, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center.
Iris was born May 13, 1930, to Gary and Pearl Wymore in Omaha, Nebraska. She retired from Glen-Gery Brick in 1997.
Iris is survived by her sons, Terry Merical of Oregon and Barry (Julie) Merical of Des Moines; grandsons, Kevin (Jennifer) Merical of Des Moines and Kyle (Morgan) Merical of Slater, Iowa; and great-grandsons, Brenden and Keaton Merical of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; and her brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, followed by burial at Panther Creek Cemetery in Adel.

So sorry to hear about Iris. I didn't know much about her the last few years
Sure she is happy with your dad now.My thoughts and prayers to you and the
boys. She was a wonderful woman and had a great personality and regard for

So sorry for your loss. I remember so many good times with Iris. just want you to know we still have the craddle that was made for me when I was pregnat almost 30 years ago. Now my grandbabies sleep in it. I cherish it and her still. Our prayers are with you all. Love Paula and family
