Patricia Marie Johnson, 78, passed away December 9, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. She was born February 20, 1933, in Des Moines to Henry and Katherine (Hammond) Hines.
Patricia is survived by her sons, James, Larry, Jerry and Richard Johnson; daughter, Catherine Baenisch; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, James.

It has been 40 years since I was a part of your family but Pat and I kept in touch for a good many years after. I would see her at K-Mart and always talked. I am sure she will be greatly missed.

Very sorry to hear that Aunt Pat has left us. She was a wonderful woman. I had known her since I was a little girl and really enjoyed being around her. Aunt Pat was someone that you could really talk to, Love and trust. She was always there for everyone. I remember 26 years ago when I got married the cake I had turned out small and she went up to Hy-Vee and got two other cakes I didn't know it until we went to do cake and noticed the extra there when I found out she got those I couldn't think her enough. That was the kind of person she was thinking of others first and helping in anyway she could. We send our deepest thoughts and prayers to the family and Will really miss Aunt Pat.
