Mary Bougher

Mary Bougher, 73, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 29, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Altoona, Iowa with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 N.W. 60th .
Mary retired from Qwest after 24 years of service.
She enjoyed being with her family, gardening, crocheting, and listening to music.
She is survived by her mother, Maxine Rittenhouse; three sons, John (Leslee) Madison of Johnston, Bud (Peggy) Madison of Des Moines and Marvin (Deborah) Madison of St. Paul, MN; two daughters, Linda Ruppert of Altoona and Carmen (John) Cratty of Colfax; seven step-children, Mick, Judie, Valerie, Cindy, Jack, Weslie and Randy; 29 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bougher; her father, John Schulte; step-mother, Maxine Shulte; step-father David Rittenhouse; two grandchildren, Shannon and Bradley; and two great-grandchildren, Paige and Sarah.
