Donna Brown

Donna Brown, 70, passed away August 8, 2011, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Donna was born December 4, 1940, in Bondurant, Iowa, to Herbert and Eunice Burns. She graduated from East High School in 1959, and went on to Beauty School. Donna married Richard Brown on June 3, 1972. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and crafting.

Donna is survived by her husband, Richard; her four legged family, Tucker, Bonnie and Clyde; sister-in-law, Victoria Burns; nieces, Jackie (Bruce) Terhark; and Johnna Formaro; nephew, Joshua (Sonia) Burns; uncle, Johnny Burns; many other extended family members, her church family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Larry Burns; and sister-in-law, Joy Burns.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2011, at Berean Assembly of God, 5299 E. University Avenue in Pleasant Hill, with visitation one hour prior to the service, at the church. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
