Rodger Burton, 59, passed away August 6, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center.
Rodger was born January 27, 1952 in Davenport, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing, wrestling and slow pitch softball.
Rodger is survived by his children, Ginger (Nancy) Bear, Jenny (Chad) Ripple and Jason (Annie) Burton; six grandchildren; brothers, Sonny (Michelle) Burton and Steve Mannion; and his companion, Sandy Koenig. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Valda; brother, Michael; and sister, Linda.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to his family.

It was a shock to hear of his passing at such a young age.I know words may offer little comfort at this tragic time, but know that my deepest feelings of sympathy lie with you and your family.
