Carolyn Jean White, 61, passed away at her home July 9, 2011 from complications of diabetes. No services are planned at this time.
Carolyn was born December 13, 1949 in Dallas Center, Iowa to Lewis and Dorothy (Balliet) Grim. She worked at Prairie Meadows and enjoyed collecting various things.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 43 years, Paul White; sisters, Barbara Davis and Linda Grim; brothers, Robert Grim, Larry Grim, Richard (Deb) Grim and Jeff Grim; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

My condolences to the families of Carolyn Jean White. I am a Balliet and I am related to Dorothy Jean Balliet(Grim). My father was brother to Donald Lewis Balliet, father to Dorothy Jean and Donald Lewis Balliet Jr. My father was Harold Dean Balliet a Dallas Center graduate. I lived in Perry, Iowa when I was a child. I have been searching for my cousins, you all. I would very much like to contact Carolyn's husband, brothers, sisters and any one who would like to know information on your lost relatives. Is Donald Lewis Jr. living near you all?
I have two grandsons and two daughters. My father married Helen Alkire from Adel, Iowa. My fathers father was John Tyler married to Minnie Kellogg. John Tylers father was Cornelius married to Susan Viola McKinney. I have more info going back to our pioneer immigrant Johannes around 1738. I know of Carolyn's bros. and sis's, Robert, Richard, Jeffrey, Larry, Barbara and Linda. I am cousin to Dorothy Jean so Carolyn is my 2nd cousin. I'm sorry that I couldn't have made contact earlier.
